Yes Man

It seems that lately I've been living with my own little version of the movie Yes Man.  I'm sure you know what cinematic masterpiece I'm referring to...it's the one where Jim Carrey commits to answering "yes" to everything for an entire year. So, I didn't see the movie but I get the premise. I've decided my Mother's Day gift should be a whole 365 days of "yes's" from the hubby.  I like hearing "yes" a whole heck of a lot more than hearing "no." I know you agree!

Well, Rowe-bear is starting to talk and say a little more than just "mama, dada" and right now his favorite is a variation of the word "yeah." I can count on him to say it in response to just about everything and you better believe I'm loving it!

Here's how our conversations typically go:

Mommy McCoy: "Oh look, Rowe! Coincidentally, there's Chick-Fil-A again. Do you think I need a sweet tea refill?"
Rowe: "mmmmyeah"

Mommy McCoy: "Those dishes have been piled up in the sink for a while now. It's totally okay to leave them there for one more day, right?"
Rowe: "yyyeah"

Mommy McCoy: "Daddy told me to buy only the essentials at Target today, but these super cute sports bras are on sale, and I really need them. I should just pick up a couple. What do you think?"
Rowe: "yeeeeee-ah"

Mommy McCoy: "Ughhhhhh. I really don't feel like getting cleaned up this morning. Is it okay for Mommy to wear a ball cap, no makeup, and sweats to run our errands today?"
Rowe: "yeah"

(Now, why can't I look like Brooke Burke when I wear a hat and sweats????? Maybe Rowe should start telling me "NO" to Chick-Fil-A more often! Ha!)

Mommy McCoy: "Are you Mama's boy forever?"
Rowe: "oyeah oyeah"

Gotta love a man that tells you exactly what you want to hear! =)
